The Comfort Futon from Karup Design is created for those who want to combine traditional Japanese simplicity with European comfort. Handmade in Europe and 15 cm thick, it's made of cotton with a PU foam core that provides balanced, medium-firm comfort - perfect for both beds and sofa beds.
The cotton naturally moulds to the body's contours and provides supple support, while the foam core absorbs movement for a peaceful and undisturbed night's sleep. The small amount of polyester (5-10%) in the cotton increases density and durability, while retaining the classic character of the futon - natural, dense and firm.
